The Sunflower Seas spoon rest is composed of two different colors of fused glass. A layer of vibrant sunflower yellow with flecks of cyan, cobalt, orange and spring green pairs with a layer of sea blue to provide both an echo and a contrast. I’ve added one of my favorite quotes by Antoine de St. Exupéry, “The flavor of bread shared has no equal.” It is hand painted in platinum and fired at a high temperature for permanence. The spoon rest is food safe and should be hand washed. It is not for use in the microwave. This spoon rest will add beauty and zest to any kitchen.
