Commissioned Artwork Policy

Payment

Once the buyer accepts the proposal from Caron Art Glass for a project, 50% of the total is due (including crating and shipping).  This marks the beginning of the project.  Caron Art Glass will send the buyer regular updates with photos during the design and production phases.  Once the project is complete, the remaining 50% of the total is due before the project is shipped or at the time of pick up / delivery.

Domestic Shipping

Shipping costs and estimated shipping times for commissioned artwork within the United States are provided as part of the final bid.  Smaller items are shipped USPS Priority Mail.  Larger items are crated and shipped via FedEX Home Delivery.  

Expedited Shipping within the United States is available for an additional cost.

International Shipping

International shipping costs and estimated shipping times are provided as part of the final bid.  Smaller items are shipped USPS Priority Mail International.  Larger items are crated and shipped via FedEX International Economy. 

All items are insured for the full value.  Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply.  Caron Art Glass not responsible for delays due to customs.

Cancellations

Once the buyer accepts the proposal for custom made art and work has begun, the project cannot be cancelled.  If the project needs to be completed by a specific date or event, that information must be communicated to the artist before the proposal is made and accepted.

Returns

Your satisfaction is my goal, and I will work to ensure that the piece meets your expectations. I will provide regular updates with photographs as the process moves along.  If you are not satisfied with the artwork once it arrives, I will work with you to resolve the issue at no charge.
