The fused glass sculpture Ebb and Flow is composed of three distinct waves. The colors and shapes of my handmade glass were inspired by the intense beauty of the lava flows on the Big Island of Hawaii. The colors range from fiery reds to rich violets and soothing blues. I kiln-carved various patterns into the back of each piece of glass for an added textural element. The glass waves are anchored in a base of black granite. As a stand-alone sculpture, it can be placed in any location where it can take advantage of the natural light in the room. As you move around the piece, each vantage point offers a new take on the shapes and colors. This piece ships for free within the United States.
