The stained glass window Slow Exhale is a custom-made privacy window that transforms a view of the neighboring home with a unique piece of art.  The clients wanted the dimensions of panel to be framed by the full size of the window opening.  And so, I built an inner frame that would surround the stained glass window and be securely attached to the larger window box.   The design and color palette reflects their enjoyment of outdoor adventures in places like Yosemite.  It emphasizes the shapes and colors of the natural landscape in a nod to P. Cézanne.  The abstraction puts the beauty of the glass on center stage and gives the panel a contemporary feel.  The result is a stunning view that replaces an uninspired one with a celebration of color, shape and movement.
