Button Bowls – new at Caron Art Glass Shop

Fused glass Button Bowls are my latest addition to the Caron Art Glass online Shop.  They were inspired by the work of a talented potter and dear friend.  The narrow color palette provides a calm place for your eye to explore.  The three-dimensional glass button seems to hold the two colors of glass together.   The small area of clear glass reveals the void between the two colors.  These bowls play with our constructs of reality.  Can glass be buttoned together?

They are a mid-sized, cone shape bowl, great for a first course soup, a single serving salad, or a bowl of ice cream.  The slightly off-center rim and the button give them a whimsical charm that will add to the festivities at any table.  They make unique and functional wedding, anniversary and housewarming gifts.  Are you looking for a particular color palette?  Contact me to arrange a custom set!
