The top layer of glass for this fused glass spoon rest has streaks of browns, grays and garnet with flecks of pale blue green, garnet and steel blue. The bottom layer of pale blue green provides both an echo and a contrast to the chocolate brown. I’ve added one of my favorite quotes by Antoine de St. Exupéry, “The flavor of bread shared has no equal.” It is hand painted in platinum and fired at a high temperature for permanence. The spoon rest is food safe and should be hand washed. It is not for use in the microwave. This spoon rest will add beauty and zest to any kitchen.
