The Surf Sky blessing bowl is composed of two harmonious colors of fused glass. Turquoise and blue swirl atop a layer of cyan creates an ocean vibe. The inscription written in the bowl is a quote from the French author Antoine de Saint-Exupéry: « Ce qui embellit le désert, c’est qu’il cache un puits quelque part. » (“What makes the desert beautiful is that somewhere it hides a well.”) It speaks to the beauty that can lay hidden in the most unexpected places. The quote is handwritten in liquid gold and fired in the kiln for permanence. This petit bowl is perfect as a treasure to be displayed or to hold rings and other small items. It is food safe and should be hand washed. Not for use in the microwave.
